I believe some teams may be collecting other items on this day as well.
There will be staff at WCS to greet and collect these items from you.
If you cannot attend this pick up, there will be another day to do so the week of June 15.

NEW 7/8 CONCERT DETAILS

Sunday, March 15, 2020

Hello Wind Ensemble Family,

I hope this finds you all healthy and doing well. Thank you for your patience as our plans and schedule continue to change.  Students, you have consistently exhibited positive attitudes, perseverance, flexibility and kindness. You  are all wonderful young people and I am so lucky to work with you every day!

Hopefully you all know that the concert is canceled. Ms. Kennedy and I plan to use the next two days to focus on preparing for our time away from school. When we return to school, we will revisit the concert and if there is a way to perform, we will.

Regarding band and lessons this week:

I welcome (but certainly will not require) all to come to band on Monday morning at 7:30. If you choose to attend, we will sight read through some new music with the purpose of connecting and enjoying making music together before we break.
I will also be available for lessons on Monday. Please follow the schedule from last Monday, 3/9. Attendance at lessons is welcome but not required.  I encourage you to make the decision that is best for you.

Band will not meet on Tuesday morning at 7:30 am.

Regardless of your decision, please do your best to bring your instrument home for the break.

Be well and thank you all,

Kim Thompson
