8th grade trip to CVU

All CSSU eighth grade musicians are headed to CVU on Thursday, 1/15 from 11:30-2:30. The purpose of this event is to  get acquainted with the music program available to them next year. They will meet Mr. Miskavage,  play music with their  peers from across the  district and get lots of questions answered. We want all eighth graders in attendance on this trip. Permission slips were sent  home with students and need to be returned asap.

Look Hooo Knows Their Scales!

The leaves may be falling outside, but they are going UP in the band room!  As a student shows mastery of a scale, his/her name goes on a leaf. As they show mastery of 7 scales, they get their own owl.  Keep up the great work!

Hooo knows their scales? This year's incentive to learn scales is our beautiful scale tree. As a student demonstrates mastery of a major scale, a leaf with their name is added to the branch.Look how many leaves we have already! Congratulations to Ethan for completing all 7 scales today! Thank you Mrs. Gigliotti for sharing your artistic talent to create this tree!
